Very usefull class.
But what you think about some escapes of inputs?

I looked in php manual and found escapeshellcmd. Do you think is usefull here?

Hello catalin!

No, you do not need to escape your data.

The class is simply a backup of your database to a compressed archive.

escapeshellcmd used only if the login to connect to your database (arguments: Host, User, Password and Database name) comes from an untrusted source, that should never be the case!
