Well, it's good to know I do all of these except #9. I usually just check the error log when I have some down time (which is never), or when I need a break from coding for a while. It probably should be done more consistently. A cron-automated script that emails me is a great idea, which I'm going to implement.

Right, it is a simple step that saved my neck so many times, that I am sure it will be helpful to everybody that follows it as well.
